Uniqlo makes dinner… Japanese retailer Uniqlo is trying their hand at becoming a lifestyle brand. Starting with a recipe app for iPod and iPhone. The app takes cues from Uniqlo’s LifeWear philosophy, to create a quality product that functions in every aspect of life. With this in mind, Uniqlo recruited six hip, talented chefs to create four original recipes using everyday ingredients and simple cooking techniques. The results are aesthetically pleasing dishes that we assume are also delicious. We appreciate the retailer’s move to remain cutting edge, while still maintaining its stylish minimalist appeal. Maybe it’s time to start matching our sweaters to our soup…
